Confessions of a Cooking Chief
Big room with a lots of cooking utensils. The room is as hot as a sun filled with different aroma. Some are tasty, some are delicious and some comes from our sweaty odour. There are a lot of sound from all around the room. Like chopping sound, sizzling sound, bubbling sound. The room is also filled with laughter and shouting.
I was moving around all the time, preparing dish, cooking dish and creating new dish. All day long, I was in the kitchen moving around with my colleagues in preparing all sorts of dishs for our customers. It was a challenge everyday. We faced shortage of ingredient, unsatisfatory customers, meeting unreasonable requirement from our superior. We also faced problem like shortage of chief that we require to do more work to accomplish our needs.
I am a great chief working in my own restaurant. My restaurant is a five-star restaurant with very high standard of cleanliness. All my working staff are very hardworking and they seldom take medical and holiday leave.
I love my job very much and I enjoy cooking for those who enjoy and like eating my food. I feel that cooking for others is a very enjoyable things as we chief can bring happiness through our food to them. When we put our own heart in to prepare any dish for our customers, they will be very happy when they enjoy our food. Some of them also will leave some comment about how well done our food is and our restaurant service. When I heard all this, it make me happy being a chief.
When I am at home, I can only be found mostly in the kitchen. This is what all my friends had told me. I was creating new dish for my customers and letting my family and friends try my new dish.Whenever I had a new dish out, I will called all my friends to my house to try my new dish. This is how my restaurant dish came about.
